SoundArt launched its clever range of speakers disguised as paintings with a classy bash at the Trafalgar Hotel. Guests included Pearl Lowe and Danny Goffy from Supergrass, Jemma Kidd and The Earl of Mornington, Jasmine Guinness and artists Adam Bricusse, John Stoddart and John Swannell who all be enjoyed music by London’s best DJ, Dan Lywood.

By far the biggest and best party in the Hill area recently was the TAG Heuer Strength & Beauty party at the Royal College of Art in Kensington Gore. Hosted by TAG Heuer Chief Executive Jean-Marc Lacave and photographer Mary McCartney, the party celebrated a photography project designed to raises funds for the United Nations Development Fund for Women through a series of 35 beautiful portraits of exceptional women. Out in force were stylish and prominent people including Stella McCartney, Jodie Kidd, Sophie Dahl, Peter Blake, Justin de Villeneuve, Joely Richardson and Roland Mouret, while on the decks was no other than Jasmine Guinness.

The opening of Portobello's new toyshop Honeyjam was a highlight this month. Also, Portobello Green unveiled a stylish new refurb, the Royal College of Art held an art sale in aid of Chase Hospice and lots of television faces turned up to support a carol concert in aid of Help the Aged. Songs for the old
A host of television faces including Notting Hill's Mariella Frostrup and Penny Smith added sparkle to an exclusive carol concert in support of Help the Aged at the Actors' Church in Covent Garden. A record number of people attended the concert, whose line-up included Christmas carols by the celebrated RADA choir, a moving solo performance from Nicky Spence and readings by celebrities including Sylvia Sims, June Whitfield and Lionel Blair.
